The Office of Student Services cultivates a student-centred, holistic and inclusive environment that fosters personal growth and a sense of community in support of Athena University's mission. We provide comprehensive curricular and co-curricular opportunities in a collaborative manner which promotes diversity, social justice, global citizenship and the overall development of students.

International Student Services (ISS)

The Office of Student Services at Athena University provides a variety of services and advising for our international students. Some of the services include the following:

  • Arrival orientation
  • Academic workshops, tutoring programs and English language support
  • Student visa application
  • Immigration advising
  • Cultural adjustment assistance
  • Healthcare including medical coverage and insurance
  • Activities and workshops to get to know your fellow international students
  • Internships and job search assistance
  • Support after graduation

Academic Difficulty

Running into difficulties? If you are having difficulty with your courses at Athena, you need to make an appointment with an academic advisor as soon as possible. Our academic advisors will help those that are having academic difficulties to get back into good academic standing. For appointments, please contact an academic advisor.

Back on Track

Athena's Back on Track Program offers students who are in academic difficulty or on academic probation the opportunity to assess their academic choices, resolve their challenges and develop strategies for future academic and personal success. Please contact one of our academic advisors.
